Physical Description
The Klamath Basin is located on either side of the Oregon/California border south of Upper Klamath Lake and primarily west of the Lower Klamath Lake.

4000 – 4200 ft (1210– 1280 m)

The primary source of water is from an extensive canal system delivered from the Upper Klamath Lake. Due to a number of very dry years many deep wells have been drilled to provide supplemental water during the occasional dry winter.
