Physical Description
Located in the center of Oregon at the base of the Cascade Range, the heart of this region is formed by a triangle between the cities of Madras, Prineville, and Redmond, Oregon

2300 – 3500 ft (701 – 1067 m)

Irrigation
Most of the land is sprinkled with water from the Wickiup, Ochoco, and Prineville Reservoirs. Sprinklers are primarily wheel line and pivots.

Mint Varieties
Peppermint (mostly Murray Mitcham, also some Roberts Mitcham, Black Mitcham and Todd Mitcham) and a small amount Scotch Spearmint.
